You know you're a dressage if:
1)Your frock and top hat together cost more than any other piece of clothing you own.
2)You prefer to ride sitting trot and you are determined to get it right even if it takes 3 hours on your horse to do it.
3)You leave the house at 6 am to go get your horse prepared for your competition that starts at 11 am.
5)You set up a mini arena in your room and practice your new dressage test.
6)You start training for the upcoming seasons competitions 6 months in advance.
7)You watch videos of GP riders on youtube before you go to sleep.
8)You know GP riders kur music by heart.
9)You've watched GP freestyles so much that you have memorized their routines.
10)When you are driving the car to classical music, you get excited when you can execute a full stop right at the end of the piece.
11)You look at basketball players and think, "Hmmm, collected...no,not collected."
12)The weather is getting hot and you are looking at fans, 30 dollars for a fan is too much but when you go home you go online and look at a pair of 7 hundred dollar spanish style riding boots.
13) You half halt while driving.
14) When you go to dressage clinics you take a notebook with you and end up writing 10 pages of notes front and back.
15) When you are walking along listening to your i-pod you try to walk on beat of the music.
16) You think anything under 17 hands is short.
17) You are always buying hair products for your horse, not for yourself. (Because there is a show coming up and you must look flashy)
18) You think 60 dollars for a winter jacket is too much, but you think 200 EUROS for a frock is reasonable.
19) By any chance someone stole your bag, you wouldn't worry about the money, you'd worry about your; spurs, hair net and bands for your horses mane.
20)When you listen to music you imagine what the instrumental version would be and if it would make a good freestyle.
21)You have had the opportunity to test outrageous claims by laundry detergent companies because of ggreen slobber on your 200 dollar white breeches.
22) You have had the opportunity to learn and put use to all the German swear words..
23)If you see Sabine Schut-Kery in the latest Dressage Today and realize you've actually met and talked to her and FLIP OUT with excitement =))).
24)When you listen to songs about victory, you imagine yourself winning the dressage Olympics on your horse.
25) You have separate spurs for lessons and competitions.
26) Your alphabet consists of the following letters;

27) Your horse is worth more than your car.
28) Whenever you are in the car and you turn, you automatically shift your balance.
29) You go to a show as a photographer and end up taking about 600 photos.
30) Other riders look at you weirdly because you prefer to ride with two dressage whips.
31)You sign up at a fitness club just to get stronger muscles so you can control your horse more effectively.
32)When people ask you what dressage is you are able to give them a very long and historic explanation.
