Horses
Why do people think that only dogs and cats make good pets? In my opinion horses make perfect pets, too.
Firstly, horses are very friendly animals, they enjoy being in people company. And they have amusing personalities. They are very loyal animals, and they always know who is their owner, horses will never forget their owners.
Secondly, they are easier to care than dogs. Because horses can stay out in the pasture and eat grass. While dogs has to stay in a kennel or in the house and you have to walk with it.
Furthermore, horses are very good "friends" for adults or for children. Because, horses feel peoople very good, their emotions and mood. And horses are also a big source of positive energy.
Moreover, they can taught many sorts of tricks – even to bring you different things. And if you will practice a lot, you can train your horse in show jumping, dressage, racing, driving and so on. You can even reach many types of competitions with your horse.
On the other hand, keeping a horse as a pet is very expensive, because feeding, maintaining one costs a lot of money. And horse equipment is also very expensive. Also horses are very big and unpredictable animals, so you must be very careful and patient. Your horse will take all your free time, because you need a lot of time to spend with your pet. So, it is better to think before you buy a horse. However, if you have two hours free time a week, why not ?
All in all, although having a horse can be tiring, I belive that they are the best pets. Spending a little time with your horse will certainly win you a «best friend » for life. Horses are animals which wants to trust you and be your friend, wants to please you in jumping or in whatever you do.
